Terms of Service
Effective 22 June 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of Bawadir (bawadir.io), a bilingual regulatory-intelligence service that monitors Saudi regulatory authorities and delivers a digest of their issuances. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Bawadir (bawadir.io) is an independent Saudi regulatory-intelligence service (“Bawadir”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@bawadir.io.
2. The Service
Bawadir monitors publicly available sources of Saudi regulatory authorities, and produces a daily brief and a searchable record of their issuances, with summaries and classifications in Arabic and English. The Service is an awareness and monitoring tool. It is not a regulator, a law firm, or a compliance advisor, and it does not replace the official sources it summarizes. Bawadir is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government or regulatory authority.
3. Not legal or professional advice
The content of the Service is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, regulatory, tax, or other professional advice, and must not be relied upon as such. No lawyer–client or advisory relationship is created by your use of the Service. You remain solely responsible for your own regulatory obligations and should consult a qualified professional and the official source before acting.
4. Nature of the content — aggregated public sources
Our content is compiled from publicly available materials issued by third-party regulatory authorities. By its nature this material may contain errors, omissions, delays, or gaps that are outside our control. The official publication on the regulator’s own channels is the sole authoritative source. Where a summary differs from the official issuance, the official issuance prevails.
Bawadir is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Saudi Central Bank, the Capital Market Authority, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, or any other authority. Names of authorities are used for identification only.
5. AI-generated summaries and classifications
Summaries, translations, and classifications (such as action level and relevance) are generated in part by automated and AI systems. They may contain errors, misclassifications, or omissions, are provided for convenience only, and are not a substitute for reading the original issuance. Always verify against the official source before relying on any item.
6. Accounts
You must provide an accurate email address and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We use a one-time-code sign-in; do not share the codes sent to you.
7. Subscriptions, fees and billing
The Service offers a free tier and paid tiers. Fees, billing, automatic renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not collect or store your full card details.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) copy, republish, redistribute, sell, or sub-license the content other than for your own internal use; (b) scrape, crawl, or use any robot or automated means to access the Service; (c) use the Service or its content to train any machine-learning or AI model; (d) circumvent any access, security, or rate-limiting measure; or (e) use the Service unlawfully or in a way that harms its operation.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, software, compilation, summaries, and classifications are owned by Bawadir or its licensors and protected by applicable laws. The underlying official documents remain the property of their respective sources. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own professional purposes during your subscription.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, currency, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the applicable laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bawadir will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on the content. We do not warrant or guarantee that your use of the Service will satisfy, assist with, or ensure your compliance with any legal or regulatory obligation. Our total aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Bawadir against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including sections 3–5 and 9–12) survive termination.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent courts of the Kingdom have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
15. Language
These Terms are provided in Arabic and English. In case of any conflict or inconsistency, the Arabic version prevails.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
17. General
If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Bawadir regarding the Service. Questions: hello@bawadir.io.
