Real Estate General Authority Board of Directors Approves "Regulatory Regulations for Real Estate Consulting and Analytics"
مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للعقار يُقرّ "التنظيم التشريعي للاستشارات والتحليلات العقارية"
The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) Board of Directors approved the "Regulatory Regulations for Real Estate Consulting and Analytics," part of the broader real estate legislation framework, following a public consultation period on the "Istatlaa" platform and final approval in September. The regulations define real estate consulting as recommendations, opinion or advice provided to a beneficiary in writing, and real estate analytics as opinion or analysis provided to the public via media or social media; they take effect upon publication in the Official Gazette and comprise ten articles covering licensing conditions, obligations, prohibitions, and penalties. Under Article 19 of the Real Estate Brokerage Law, violators may face one or more penalties: a warning, license suspension of up to one year, license revocation, or a fine not exceeding SAR 200,000.
