The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah launches a feature to explore the Two Holy Mosques via the “Nusuk” application.

In a step aimed at improving user experience and enhancing users’ cognitive awareness of the Two Holy Mosques, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the launch of a new feature through the “Nusuk” application, enabling users to explore the treasures of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Madinah Al-Munawwarah in an innovative way. This step came in response to the results of a public opinion survey launched by the ministry through its official platforms, targeting partners of the “Nusuk” platform to gather their views on adding new exploratory services. The results showed that 53% of participants supported the idea of the new service, out of 466 participants across the X and LinkedIn platforms. The new feature offers a comprehensive experience that includes guided tours, cultural programs, and valuable religious information, thereby enhancing the user experience in an integrated manner. The survey options included several proposals, most notably: adding a scheduled group exploration program; adding an exploration program with a guide using a private car; or no need for this service. Based on these results, the ministry worked on developing the feature and officially launching it on January 4, 2025, to provide an integrated exploration experience that meets the aspirations of the Guests of Allah and reflects the ministry’s commitment to delivering renewed, high-quality services.
