Firms urged to submit Q1 2026 VAT returns

ZATCA urged businesses subject to VAT whose annual supplies of goods and services exceed SAR 40 million to submit their March 2026 tax returns, while businesses below that threshold were urged to submit Q1 2026 returns, both no later than 30 April 2026. Late filing incurs a penalty of a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 25% of the tax value the taxpayer should have declared.
