Foiling the Smuggling of More Than 29 kg of Cocaine at the Customs of Jeddah Islamic Port

ZATCA foiled an attempt to smuggle 29.1 kilograms of cocaine hidden inside the air-conditioning unit of a container arriving at Jeddah Islamic Port. ZATCA spokesperson Hammoud Al-Harbi said the quantity was discovered during customs inspection using security technology and detection methods. The authority stated it coordinates with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control against smuggling attempts.
