ZATCA foils smuggling of 300k Captagon pills

ZATCA foiled two attempts to smuggle a total of 301,325 Captagon (amphetamine) pills concealed in two vehicles entering Saudi Arabia via the Al-Hadithah port and the King Fahd Bridge crossing. ZATCA spokesperson Humoud Al-Harbi said 209,759 pills were found hidden in the spare-tire cavity of a vehicle at King Fahd Bridge, and 91,566 pills were found hidden inside bus parts at Al-Hadithah port. After the seizure, ZATCA coordinated with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, and the intended recipient of the shipment was arrested inside the Kingdom.
