Apply for the ZATCA Initiative to Cancel Fines and Penalties

زاتكا تدعو للاستفادة من مبادرة إلغاء الغرامات والإعفاء من العقوبات المالية

ZATCA called on taxpayers to benefit from the extended "Cancellation of Fines and Exemption of Financial Penalties" initiative, running until 31 December 2025. It covers fines for late registration, late payment, and late filing of returns across all tax systems, the VAT return-correction fine, and field-inspection violations linked to e-invoicing and other general VAT provisions. Eligibility requires the taxpayer to be registered, to have filed all due returns, and to have paid or arranged installment payment of the outstanding tax principal, with the installment request submitted during the initiative period. The initiative excludes fines related to tax evasion violations and fines already paid before it took effect.
