Al-Hadithah Customs Foils Attempt to Smuggle More than 45,000 Tablets of the Narcotic "Amphetamine" Hidden in a "Cheese" Shipment

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) foiled a smuggling attempt of 46,968 amphetamine tablets hidden in a truck's cheese-tin shipment at the Al-Hadithah port. ZATCA spokesperson Hamoud Al-Harbi said the authority coordinated with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, and the recipient was arrested inside the Kingdom.
