"Zakati" Platform for "Voluntary Individual Zakat" Surpasses One Billion Riyals Since Its Launch

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) announced that total zakat collected through its "Zakati" platform for voluntary individual zakat has surpassed one billion riyals since the platform's launch approximately nine years ago. The platform provides a smart calculator covering various zakat types — including cash, gold and silver, shares, investment funds, and real estate — along with multiple secure payment options and zakat-due reminders. ZATCA's official spokesperson Hammoud Al-Harbi stated that the milestone reflects growing public trust in the platform and supports Saudi Vision 2030's digital economy objectives.
