Al-Hadithah Customs foils an attempt to smuggle more than 154,000 tablets of amphetamine (Captagon)

جمرك الحديثة يُحبط محاولة تهريب أكثر من 154 ألف حبة من مادة الإمفيتامين (الكبتاجون)

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) foiled a smuggling attempt at the Al-Hadithah port, seizing 154,108 amphetamine (Captagon) tablets hidden inside a shipment declared as tents entering the Kingdom. ZATCA spokesperson Hamoud Al-Harbi said the authority coordinated with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, leading to the arrest of five people who were to receive the shipment inside the Kingdom.
