Saudi Red Sea Authority Signs Two MoUs During Tourism Forum

On 25 January 2024, the Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) signed two memoranda of understanding, with the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC) and the National Maritime Academy (NMA), during the Saudi Tourism Forum 2024 in Riyadh. The MoU with SIRC aims to establish a coastal tourism command center in Riyadh covering environment, security, safety, and tourism, including installing and maintaining mooring buoys along the Red Sea and regulating waste management and recycling at sites of navigational and marine tourism activities. The MoU with the National Maritime Academy will provide training and consulting studies in sustainable marine protection and in marine tourism and recreational activities.
