No action neededAwareness

On 4 January 2024, the Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) began on-ground inspections, starting with 14 visits in Jeddah, Jazan, and Al Laith, as a prerequisite for licensing marina operators and maritime tourism agents under new regulations that took effect on 5 November 2023. Licensing marina operators aims to improve marina operations and customer service quality and maintain a safe environment for yachts and visitors, while licensing maritime tourism agents aims to ensure agency services meet high standards. SRSA was established by a Cabinet decision in November 2021 to regulate navigational and marine tourism activities.
