Saudi Red Sea Authority Champions Coastal Tourism at ILTM Cannes, France

On December 8, 2023, the Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) concluded its participation, alongside the Saudi Tourism Authority, in the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) held December 4-7, 2023 in Cannes, France. SRSA briefed participants on its activities and on seven new regulations enforced since November 2023 to enhance coastal tourism sustainability and safety, including the Visiting Private Yacht Regulation and the Large Yacht Chartering Regulation, and highlighted investment opportunities in the Red Sea. SRSA was established by a Council of Ministers decision in November 2021 and its tasks include regulating coastal navigational and marine tourism activities, protecting the marine environment, supporting investors, and marketing coastal tourism.
