The Authority brings together government entities with the International Federation of Accountants with the participation of 60 leaders

On the sidelines of the IFAC Connect forum hosted in Riyadh, the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) organized a meeting of professional bodies and regulators in the Kingdom, with representatives of the International Federation of Accountants and more than 60 leaders from key government entities, including the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Investment, Ministry of Economy and Planning, Ministry of Commerce, Capital Market Authority, General Court of Audit, SOCPA's board, Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, and the Saudi Business Center. The meeting discussed updates to international accounting, auditing, and ethics standards, global priorities for the profession, and how regulators can cooperate with international standard-setting boards to ensure effective implementation.
