More than 15,000 Accountants Qualified by the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants During the First Half of 2025

The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants announced that it qualified more than 15,000 accountants during the first half of 2025, with 6,284 trainees from the public and private sectors across 91 training courses. The organization also launched 9 new training programs covering areas such as financial accounting, public sector assets and liabilities, financial statement consolidation, and financial risk management. On the professional certifications side, 9,119 candidates sat examinations across various credentials, led by the Fellowship examination with 4,989 candidates, followed by the VAT Specialist with 2,081, the Accounting Technician with 1,582, the Financial Fraud Examiner with 379, and the Public Sector Accounting Standards examination with 88. The organization noted that a restructured Fellowship examination will take effect from the third session of 2025.
