IFAC: The Kingdom Leads the Middle East in Full Adoption of International Standards

IFAC: المملكة تتصدر الشرق الأوسط في تبني كامل المعايير الدولية

The International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) announced that Saudi Arabia is the only country in the Middle East to have fully adopted international standards in accounting, auditing, and professional ethics, and is among a small number of countries worldwide meeting all IFAC membership requirements. This announcement was made during the first day of the IFAC Connect forum, hosted for the first time in Riyadh, with broad participation from professional bodies and regulatory authorities across the Middle East and North Africa. The forum's sessions brought together over 60 government leaders and over 80 regional specialists to discuss international standard updates, implementation challenges, and ways to strengthen cooperation with IFAC.
