The Authority Holds a Meeting to Discuss the Third Edition of the International Financial Reporting Standard for Small and Medium-sized Entities.

The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants, represented by its Accounting Standards Board, held a meeting on Thursday 13/06/1447 AH (corresponding to 04/12/2025) to discuss the third edition of the International Financial Reporting Standard for Small and Medium-sized Entities. Participants included a member of the IASB and a technical expert from its technical team, along with stakeholders and representatives of relevant supervisory bodies. The meeting was opened by Accounting Standards Board chairman Jihad bin Mohammed Al-Omari, and the Board's initial recommendation on adopting the updated standard had previously been published for stakeholder feedback.
