The Authority Participates in the Second Meeting of the National Standards Setters Groups

SOCPA, represented by its Professional Conduct Committee and Audit Standards Board, participated in the second meeting of the national standard-setters groups affiliated with the IESBA and the IAASB, held by video conference on 3-4 November 2025. SOCPA was represented by Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Shinqiti (Chair, Professional Conduct Committee), Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Qazlan (Chair, Audit Standards Board), and Dr. Yasser bin Abdullah Al-Nafisah (Executive Management Advisor for Professional Standards). Participants discussed projects underway at the IESBA and a joint strategic work plan between the IESBA and the IAASB for the period 2028-2035.
