The Authority Participates in the Annual Meeting of the National Standard Setters Group of the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants

The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA), represented by its Professional Conduct and Ethics Committee, participated in the annual meeting of the National Standard Setters Group of the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants, held in Madrid, Spain during 30 April - 01 May 2026. SOCPA was represented by Dr. Yasser Al-Nufaysah, Executive Management Advisor for Professional Standards. Topics discussed included conduct culture and governance in professional accounting offices, sustainability assurance standards, conduct issues related to the role of financial managers, and alternative ownership structures for professional accounting offices.
