SOCPA Convenes Regional Bodies with the International Federation of Accountants with the Participation of More than 80 Specialists

On the sidelines of the IFAC Connect forum hosted in Riyadh, the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) organized a meeting with regional professional bodies, attended by more than 80 specialists. The meeting discussed the role of the International Federation of Accountants in supporting professional organizations and encouraging adoption of standards, and reviewed IFAC's Middle East and North Africa regional report covering challenges facing professional and regulatory bodies and ways to strengthen regional support and cooperation.
