The Authority Participates in the Second Meeting of the Accounting Standards Advisory Forum – International Accounting Standards Board (ASAF)

SOCPA, represented by its Accounting Standards Board, participated in the second meeting of the Accounting Standards Advisory Forum (ASAF) of the International Accounting Standards Board, held by videoconference on 28 May 2025, represented by Executive Director of Professional Standards Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Razeen. Participants discussed illustrative examples the international board plans to add to certain international standards on how climate-related uncertainty affects their application, and SOCPA's representative proposed the examples be prepared independently of sustainability-standard terminology.
