The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) launched the first initiative of its Knowledge Center, established in October 2025, by holding the first Gulf coordination meeting of professional accounting and auditing bodies, hosted by Kuwait. The meeting produced broad professional consensus to establish a sustainable coordination framework and was commended by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). Outcomes included periodic coordination meetings, a monthly "Gulf Knowledge Hour" session, and a unified Gulf guide for professional practices.
