The Authority Launches the "Accounting Disclosures" Initiative to Enhance Professional Quality

The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) launched the "Accounting Disclosures" initiative, a professional knowledge initiative aimed at enriching professionals with accounting knowledge on standards, practices, guides and releases, as well as errors observed through professional inspection data and ways to address them. SOCPA CEO Dr. Ahmed Al-Meghames said the initiative is part of the Organization's ongoing efforts to develop the profession and improve application quality by linking knowledge to practice and addressing recurring shortcomings identified through professional inspection work.
