The International Federation of Accountants Supports the Saudi Initiative in Launching the International Accounting Knowledge Center in Riyadh

The International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) announced its support for the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants' initiative to launch an International Accounting Knowledge Center based in Riyadh, aimed at supporting the knowledge economy and enhancing regional and international transparency and governance. The announcement coincided with the second day of the IFAC Connect forum in Riyadh, which included a workshop attended by over 80 specialists from professional, regulatory, and academic organizations in the Middle East and North Africa, and a roundtable of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB) with around 80 experts discussing its work program consultations, regional priorities, and projects related to climate disclosures, natural resources, and financial statement presentation.
