The Authority Hosts the Round Table Meeting with the Chair of the IFRS Foundation Trustees

The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) hosted a round table meeting at its Riyadh headquarters on Tuesday, 17 September 2024, attended by CEO Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Maghames, IFRS Foundation Trustees Chairman Erkki Liikanen, and IFRS Foundation Executive Director Michel Madelanin, along with representatives of listed companies, accounting firms, and SOCPA's accounting and auditing standards boards. The meeting aimed to present and discuss applications and developments of international accounting and sustainability standards. SOCPA is the exclusive Arabic translator of IFRS accounting and sustainability standards under its agreement with the IFRS Foundation.
