The Chief Executive Officer Participates in the Annual Meeting of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts

SOCPA CEO Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Mughamis, also chair of the regional partnership for enhancing sustainability reporting in the Gulf and neighboring countries, participated in a high-level dialogue session at the 42nd Annual Meeting of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting (ISAR42), titled "Reviewing developments in unifying sustainability reporting requirements and their practical application." He presented an overview of the Middle East region's adoption of sustainability standards and reporting, and reviewed the Organization's efforts in Arabizing and adopting the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) standards and building professional capacity through training programs.
