A recent statistical release from the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants reveals that the number of fellowship holders grew by 47% over two years, reaching 230 in 2025, with women accounting for 34% of that total. The number of those licensed to practice accounting and auditing rose by 13% over the same period, increasing from 672 licensees in 2023 to 762 in 2025. The organization's CEO, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mughamis, stated that this growth reflects the maturity of the professional system and contributes to raising the quality of financial reporting and auditing practice.
