The Authority Issues the Updated Version of the International Standards on Quality Management, Auditing, Review, Other Assurance

The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants has issued the 2024 Arabic electronic version of the International Standards on Quality Management, Auditing, Review, Other Assurance and Related Services, corresponding to the 2022 international edition. Key updates include Quality Management Standard 1 (replacing Quality Control Standard 1), Quality Management Standard 2 on engagement quality reviews, the revised Auditing Standard 220 on quality management for financial statement audits, the revised Related Services Standard 4400 on agreed-upon procedures engagements, and the revised Auditing Standard 600 on group financial statement audits. Consistency amendments arising from the quality management standards were also introduced across the remaining auditing, review, other assurance, and related services standards.
