The Authority Participates in the Annual Meeting of the National Standards Setters Group

The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants, represented by its Auditing Standards Board, participated in the annual meeting of the National Standards Setters Group held in Madrid, Spain. Topics discussed included matters related to advanced technical tools in the context of International Standards on Auditing, a planned post-implementation review of ISA 315 (updated 2019), a project to update the 500-series International Standards on Auditing including the appropriateness of incorporating ISA 530 "Audit Sampling," and a project on special topics for assurance engagements other than audits and reviews of historical financial information.
