126% Increase in Professional Licenses Issued by the Authority Over the Past Five Years

The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants announced a 126% increase in professional licenses issued over the past five years, compared with the total issued since the organization's founding more than 33 years ago. This growth is attributed to leadership support, the approval of the Accounting and Auditing Profession Law and the organization's regulations, and the implementation of its 2025-2021 strategy launched under the chairmanship of Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi. The strategy focused on expanding the number of licensed professionals, restructuring professional examinations, achieving full digital transformation, and expanding and qualifying professional offices, with the aim of aligning the sector with Vision 2030 targets.
