The Chief Executive Officer of the Authority as a Member of the Board of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC)

The General Assembly of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) announced the appointment of Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Mughamis, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants, as a member of the IFAC Board for a term of three years. His selection was described as reflecting Saudi Arabia's international standing and its ongoing efforts to develop the accounting and auditing profession and promote global professional cooperation. IFAC is the international body responsible for regulating and developing the accounting and auditing profession in the public and private sectors, comprising more than 180 professional bodies in more than 135 countries and territories.
