The Authority Approves the Rules Governing Zakat and Tax Accounting Services

The Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants approved the Rules Governing Zakat and Tax Accounting Services under its granted powers and in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce, pursuant to Article Nine of the Organization's bylaw issued under Council of Ministers Resolution No. 416 dated 25/7/1442 AH. The Board of Directors approved the rules under Decision No. 1/4 dated 5/1/1446 AH (11/7/2024), following an Executive Committee recommendation issued under Decision No. 1/1 dated 27/11/1445 AH (4/6/2024). The rules comprise nineteen articles clarifying how zakat and tax accounting services are to be provided by licensed natural persons practising the profession.
