The Authority Holds an Open Meeting with Representatives of the International Accounting Standards Board

SOCPA hosted representatives of the International Accounting Standards Board on Sunday 04-10-1445 AH, corresponding to 12-05-2024, for a joint meeting with SOCPA's Accounting Standards Board members. The meeting reviewed updates to international standards, highlighting IFRS 18 (which will replace IAS 1) and IFRS 19 (which provides reduced disclosures for subsidiaries not subject to public accountability), as well as several projects the Board is currently working on.
