The Saudi Geological Survey participated in Industry and Mining Pioneers Week at the Facilities Support Center in Jeddah, with a specialized workshop titled "Utilizing Mining Surplus" presented by engineer Nader Iskandar. The workshop highlighted opportunities to utilize ornamental stone mining waste in the Kingdom and discussed the potential of employing industrial waste from water desalination and power generation plants in industrial applications.
