Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Geological Survey Discusses Geological Cooperation in Kazakhstan

The CEO of the Saudi Geological Survey, Eng. Abdullah Al-Shamrani, led the Kingdom's delegation to the 14th International Mining Conference "Astana Mining and Metallurgy" in Kazakhstan, meeting with Kairlan Zhaliyev, head of Kazakhstan's national geological survey, to discuss cooperation, knowledge transfer, and capacity building in geological surveys and mineral exploration. He also met Kazakhstan's Minister of Industry and Construction on behalf of the Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, to strengthen mining-investment cooperation, and delivered a speech on "the age of minerals."
