The Authority Reveals the Truth About the Smoke of Umm Jarsan Cave

The Saudi Geological Survey stated that a specialized volcano team from the National Center for Earthquakes and Volcanoes conducted a field visit to Umm Jarsan Cave at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday 12-7-1441 AH, after social media circulated a video showing rising smoke and fire. The team examined the smoke and determined it was accumulated bird and bat droppings on the cave floor rather than volcanic lava as the circulated video had claimed.
