Saudi Geological Survey Highlights the Efforts of the Marine Geology Center on World Hydrography Day

On the occasion of World Hydrography Day, the Saudi Geological Survey highlighted the role of its Marine Geology Center, which was established to carry out marine geological survey work. A specialized team conducts marine studies and research on marine sediments, identifying their sources, types, and sizes, as well as minerals and rare elements. The Center also studies the mechanics of sediment transport into the marine environment, the effects of currents and waves, and changes occurring along the coastline.
