The Saudi Geological Survey signed a contract with an international company to reassess the current condition of a stormwater and flood drainage tunnel in Makkah, aiming to preserve the tunnel's safety and stability, confirm it does not affect the water level of the Zamzam well, and set construction standards for the area above the tunnel. The project will take 21 months to complete.
