Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Launches the Geological Maps Project for the Arabian Shield Region Valued at Up to SAR 777 Million

The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Saudi Geological Survey (SGS), Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, launched the Geological Maps Project for the Arabian Shield region, one of the projects under the General Geological Survey Program initiative, valued at up to SAR 777 million and to be implemented in partnership with the China Geological Survey. The event was attended by SGS CEO Eng. Abdullah Muftar Al-Shamrani, Chinese Vice Minister of Natural Resources for Geology and China Geological Survey head Li Jianzhong, and the Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Jeddah, Wang Qimin.
