Saudi Geological Survey Holds Workshop on "Wadi Sanctuaries Project"

The Saudi Geological Survey held a workshop on the "Wadi Sanctuaries Project" to discuss the project's thematic and technical framework outside urban boundaries, attended by the Survey's CEO, Eng. Abdullah Al-Shamrani, and officials from relevant government ministries, authorities, and sectors working in hydrology and weather phenomena. The workshop reviewed the latest techniques, tools, and capabilities for studying floods and prior studies, and exchanged views to develop the programs and tools used in the project. The Survey's official spokesperson, Tarek Aba Al-Khail, said the workshop strengthens cooperation between the Survey and related bodies to improve preparedness and reduce potential flood-related risks.
