SAMA Licenses “Global Exchange AS Currency Service Limited” to Conduct Foreign Currency Trading in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) licensed "Global Exchange AS Currency Service Limited" to conduct foreign currency buying, selling, and trading within the Kingdom, bringing the total number of licensed currency exchange centers in Saudi Arabia to 66. SAMA stated the decision supports the exchange sector to improve the effectiveness and flexibility of financial transactions and enhance financial inclusion, and urged the public to deal only with institutions licensed or authorized by SAMA, verifiable via its website.
