The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) added an Electronic Check Clearing Service (ECCS) to its e-services portal, aiming to enable check collection within one business day. This step is part of SAMA's digital transformation strategy to automate services for individuals and entities through a unified, secure digital portal, which already includes services such as inquiries on accounts and deposits of deceased persons, filing complaints against financial institutions, and requesting to exercise personal data rights.
