SAMA Licenses New Payment Company

البنك المركزي السعودي يرخص لشركة جديدة لمزاولة نشاط خدمات المدفوعات

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) licensed "Al-Holool Al-Mubasata Al-Maliya" company to conduct payment services activity, to provide electronic wallet services. This brings the total number of companies licensed to conduct this activity in the Kingdom to 25, in addition to 7 companies that have received preliminary approval. SAMA stressed the importance of dealing with financial institutions licensed or authorized by SAMA, which can be verified via its website.
