SAMA Licenses \\“New Technology for Software Solutions” and “Lean Technologies Saudi Arabia for Information Systems Technology” to Provide Open Banking Services

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) licensed "New Technology for Software Solutions" and "Lean Technologies Saudi Arabia for Information Systems Technology" to conduct payment services and provide account information services, part of open banking. The licensing followed the two companies' successful completion of SAMA's regulatory sandbox trial period. SAMA advised the public to verify that financial institutions are licensed via its website before dealing with them.
