SAMA Licenses “Tatbiq Darahem Company for Technology Almaliya” to Provide Open Banking Services

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has licensed 'Tatbiq Darahem Company for Technology Almaliya' to carry out payment services activities and provide account information services, one of the services associated with open banking. This brings the total number of companies currently licensed to provide payment services in Saudi Arabia to 32. The license follows the company's successful completion of a trial period within SAMA's regulatory sandbox, and aligns with SAMA's efforts to support financial inclusion and encourage safe innovation in financial services.
