Talal bin Fouad Al-Hamoud, Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Technical Affairs, expressed thanks to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the royal order appointing him to the role at the excellent grade. Al-Hamoud holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of British Columbia and a bachelor's in business administration from Simon Fraser University, and previously served as Assistant Governor for Monetary Affairs from February 2024, Deputy Governor for Investment (2022-2024), Director of Reserves Management (2017-2022), Director of External Fixed Income (2013-2017), and Acting Director of Fixed Income and Alternatives (2011-2013), joining the central bank as an investment analyst in 2009. He also sits on the board of the Saudi Fund for Development and chairs or serves on several central bank committees.
