SAMA Launches “Account Finder” for Retail Banking Customers

البنك المركزي السعودي يُطلق خدمة "استعراض حساباتي البنكية" للعملاء الأفراد

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) launched the "Account Finder" service for individual retail customers on Thursday 01/11/1445 AH, corresponding to 09/05/2024. The service lets individuals verify ownership of their personal accounts at local banks through those banks' electronic channels. SAMA stated the service aims to enhance reliability and reduce risks of suspicious transactions, unauthorized account use, and identity impersonation, as part of its broader effort to develop electronic financial transaction services.
