SAMA Licenses “Darb Pay for Information Technology” to Provide Payment Services

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) licensed Darb Pay for Information Technology to provide payment services via electronic wallet, bringing the total number of companies licensed to provide payment services in the Kingdom to 28. SAMA said the decision supports the payments sector, enhances the effectiveness and flexibility of financial transactions, and encourages innovation to boost financial inclusion, and it advised the public to verify licensed or authorized financial institutions via its website.
