SAMA Headquarters Receives LEED Gold Certification for Green Buildings

On 24/11/2024, the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) obtained LEED Gold certification from the US Green Building Council (USGBC) for its main headquarters building rehabilitation project in the Conferences District in Riyadh ("Markaz 1 Building"). The certification reflects compliance with international environmental sustainability standards aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. The rating system evaluates the facility's environmental impact and performance, including site, energy efficiency, water efficiency, carbon dioxide emissions, environmental responsibility, and operational efficiency.
