SAMA Licenses “Thara” to Provide Debt-Based Crowdfunding Solutions

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has licensed "Thara" to provide debt-based crowdfunding services. With this addition, the total number of companies licensed for this activity reaches nine, and the total number of licensed/authorized financing companies in Saudi Arabia becomes 59. SAMA states that this decision supports the financing sector, promotes innovation in financial services, and advances financial inclusion across all segments of society.
